My first ‘international’ wedding – don’t think I will ever forget the morning that my phone rang and it was an enquiry all the way from Australia !!!

Marida & Francois is certainly 2 of the most awesome human beings I have ever come across. {maybe the fact that they both originally from South Africa has got something to do with that }
It was one big Afrikaans wedding on the Gold Coast of Australia – bizarre to be in a different country but yet be surrounded with ONLY South Africans?!
I started documenting ‘getting the wedding premises ready’ on the Friday, stayed with all (and when i say ALL – there was 12 bridesmaids} at the Peppers Resort the night before the wedding – needless to say it was absolutely B E AU T I F U L!
It was great spending time with all the girls, getting to know them better ….

They got married at Woodlands Lakeside , near Coolangatta on the Gold Coast : such an awesome venue and great for pictures!
Everything was planned to absolute perfection – it was such an honor to be part of such a special celebration of {LOVE}
They even had a message filled with *blessings* from ‘oupa’ all the way from South Africa …
Everything about this day was just soooooo SUPER SPECIAL!!!!

Jy’s is regtig amazing en die fotos is meer as wat ons voor kon vra. Was so lekker om jou te ontmoet en om so maklik met jou oor die weg te kom. Jy is een wonderlike mens en ons het daai dag so saam met jou geniet. Dankie dat jy hierdie memories vir ons gecapture het in so n asemrowende manier. Ons het nog altyd die “love en laughter” in ons relationship gehad maar nou het jy dit vir ons gecapture in beautiful fotos that will last a lifetime. Jys altyd weer welkom hier in Brisbane xxx
