On the 24th of September I had the privilege of photographing a beautiful promise of TRUE love in Johannesburg.
What a whirlwind of a wedding – my day started off with breakfast at Stanley44 with my assistant Paul … the yummiest breakfast up to date!!!!! Thinking we’ve got all the time in the world {according to the GPS} the venue was suppose to be only a 10 minute drive from where we were …. you guessed it – DO NOT trust a GPS …. EVER!!
After blood {luckily not literally}, sweat and tears landing in the middle of Hillbrow we quickly made a couple of phone calls and an hour later we were at the venue – don’t think I have ever been so nervous before a wedding!!
The weather was perfect, the venue exquisite & Kerryn as beautiful as ever!!!
The wedding ceremony & reception was held at Toadbury Hall just outside Johannesburg.
I had my first experience in light painting – does help if you’ve got a BRILLIANT assistant
