Me and strange meetings – yet, another one.
I live on Highlevel Road in Greenpoint and run Skyeway Stairs 3 times a week as part of my exercise regime that I am following. Last week whilst running the stairs, I saw a lady with a baby – complimented her on her beautiful boy and told her that I love taking pictures of kids. That same night we bumped into each other again at the Waterfront and I told her to join my facebook page – Carmen Visser Photography, if she wants to have a look at some of my work, because my website was under construction…
Well, to make a long story short – here they are – beautiful pictures of a beautiful family, that crossed my path in the strangest way.

It’s been only 2 nights since we got the pickies…and we can’t stop looking at them! They are wonderful!

Today I went to Orms to get all 118 photos printed. Yes! 118 beauties! Sorry people you can only see so little of that “chef d’oeuvre”
My parents taught me neither to speak nor to trust strangers…well when I met Carmen on top of Skyeway Steps and we started chatting (she was out of breath from the running!) I could not help but follow my instinct. I was so excited I told Dereck I finally found someone to take pictures of the 3 of us! He thought it was a bit of a rushed decision. But then when i popped into her again that same night that was it…call it destiny!
And the following Sunday morning we were there in sunny Hout Bay with Carmen taking snapshots of our love, our light and our laughter as someone would say

Hi Carmen. Thanks soooooooo much for all the photos I really much prefer being behind the camera rather than infront of it but you really have a knack for taking photos they are beautiful and you made us feel like we were at home hanging out with a friend needless to say everyone wants copies
and Camille printed all 118 and then couldn’t fit them all in the album 
we’ve had so many compliments on the photos and it’s so apparent that you are doing something you love with conviction so keep at it you’re a superstar!
