Where will one start?

I had the privilege of photographing a celebration of LOVE, 7 hours drive away from Cape Town, in a tiny little town with the name of Williston.

Everything about this day was special, Antoinette looked radiant & Jaco was smiling from ear to ear the whole day – with a beautiful bride like Antoinette, I don’t blame him;) … AND the moon was the closest it has been to planet earth in 19 years: a special evening it sure was!

Antoinette is originally  from Williston and Jaco {alias Tering} grew up in Brandvlei. These two were meant to be – I don’t think Williston has ever seen such a beautiful celebration of LOVE!

A huge thanks to Marlé Smit from Flower Republic for the beautiful stationary and flower arrangements.

Claudi – thanks for keeping me company on the road trip and for your fabulous assisting! You ROCK!

The reason for the picture of the mosquito repellent – well, you had to be there to understand it … one would think that in such a dry area there would not be any mosquitos ….well, you are WRONG …. the Karoo had a very high rainfall not too long ago and as soon as the sun sets the mosquitos comes out to party!!

To top of the event, they had chinese sky lanterns at the end of the evening – what a brilliant, beautiful gesture for your guests!!!

Blessings upon you both … Jaco & Antoinette – may you have a blessed life ahead of you!!
