The way they look at one another if they are uncertain,  the jokes to make each other laugh and just plain & simple – bathing in the love that they have got for each other … pure delight !!

As a wedding photographer I find it extremely important to ‘get to know’ my couples in front of the camera before the big day, thus the reason for a FREE engagement session when you book me as your wedding photographer

I was suppose to take pictures of Tinus & Renata on Saturday, but got some serious food poisoning on Friday evening and was in bed till 5am on Sunday morning … then pulled myself together and did 3 shoots in one day.{on a empty stomach – and if you know how much I love food, this was quite a challenge}

Tinus & Renata is such awesome people : REAL people, no fuss, just REAL – I like that in my clients and lucky me, they all tend to be that way. I was so happy when Renata decided on using me as the photographer, they are getting married at my favorite location – Beloftebos, on the 11th of February …. a mere 11 days away from today !? My word, it is already February – how time flies !!?

We planned to do the photo session at the Harbor, but decided against it at the last minute cause we figured it is not really that safe for a little one We opt for St. James beach instead and what a beautiful morning it turned out to be. I absolutely just love soft back light !!!

The one thing I will never forget about this shoot, wait actually there are 2 things : 1st – Warren {Linda’s husband} had NO idea that they were going to have pictures taken, so the surprise on his face when he realized why he is standing on the beach at 7am in the morning & 2nd – little Cameron’s look of surprise when he made contact with the texture of beach sand for the 1st time : PRICELESS moments!!!!

They now both live & work in Johannesburg, but will be getting married in Hermanus. This past weekend I travelled to Hermanus to familiarize myself with the wedding venue and scout the area for the portrait session on the wedding day.

I finally got the chance to meet Tim and I photographed their engagement session in the streets of Hermanus – I was lucky enough to find really cool spots and the people were extremely friendly A big shout out to Noel & Beth from the Hemingway’s Bookshop as well as the owner of Oskars Delikatessen. : thank you !!!!!

We enjoyed a coffee at Oskars and got some real interesting pics at Hemingway’s Bookshop : I personally just loooooove the mirror reflection pics, as well as the pic that was shot through the window of them looking through the books : some real romance

Madly, utterly in LOVE – that is definitely the first words that comes to mind

I print all my dvd covers at Digital Eye in the Gardens Shopping Centre, and have become close friends with the printers and sales people and this is where I met Noorjehaan. The 2 of them will be getting married  on 25 March and I am the lucky photographer to capture this very special day!

Uzayr & Noorjehaan is an extremely fun loving couple and I believe that if you can laugh together, love comes naturally and trust me : these 2 can surely laugh together Noorjehaan made sure we had some fun props to work with and boy did we have a blast in the Company Gardens on Sunday afternoon!!!Thanks for playing along and just being yourself.

This will be my first Muslim wedding and I am really looking forward to capturing this very special day in Uzayr & Noorjehaan’s life.

I shot Melissa & Arnold’s wedding earlier this year at Beloftebos, just outside Stanford. I never had the chance to do their FREE engagement session, so decided to do a ‘trash the dress’ and what fun it was!!!

Melissa, being a photographer herself, was very happy when I suggested the location … one of those locations you drive by for years thinking “how beautiful is that???!!!” … well, we did it!!!

And it was surely worth the effort !!!!!!!

Could not believe when Caley told me she is 4 years old already!!!!!Feels like yesterday that little miss Berry celebrated her 3rd birthday party!!

Well, it is a year later AND this time around we celebrated the brand new addition to the family : little miss baby Berry : Gianna … what a beautiful name, right??

The meaning of Gianna is even more special : “God is gracious” – for real?How beautiful is that and ooooh, so true!!!!

Justine & Danny met in the Republic of Guinea {West Africa} where they madly fell in love and have been dating ever since. Danny is originally from Australia & Justine a home grown South African

The wedding celebration took place on the picturesque Webersburg wine farm just outside Stellenbosch – it is such a pleasure working as a photographer on this farm, cause everything is just so unbelievably beautiful!!!!

Justine made the best choice ever for her hair & make-up and used the services of one of the top hair & make-up artist in our country : Patrizia Lio . {*Brides to be – check this girl out … she knows what she is doing!!!!!!!}
